My Confessions

The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places, indeed I have a goodly heritage. The Lord is my shield and exceedingly great reward, I am therefore not anxious for anything.
The Lord has made this day and I will be glad in it. He has made me His workmanship and His righteousness in Christ Jesus.
I am a blessing to my generation and I shall serve my gener ion according to the seed of purpose that’s in me, I am living a purpose driven life.
Today, I will do that which pleases the Lord, as I meditate on His word and observe that which is therein. I pray oh Lord that the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in your sight.at
Thanks be unto God who always gives me victory through my Lord Jesus Christ and thanks be to Him who causes me to triumph in Christ always and makes manifest the fragrance of His knowledge by me in every place. And God is able to make all Grace abound unto me that I having sufficiency in all things may abound unto every good work.
Christ has been made unto me Wisdom so I am able to make wise decisions today as I go about doing all things through Christ who strengthens me .(Amen)

Nigerian Youths- 50% UNEMPLOYED or 50% UNEMPLOYABLE?

My Sister and I were home this morning and we heard someone comment on TV that 50% of the youths in Nigeria are unemployed. This then got us talking, are these youths, really unemployed because there are no jobs or they are unemployed because they are unemployable? By unemployable, what we mean is a lot of Nigerian youths do not have a presentable packaging when they are seeking employment, they lack spunk and carriage, you come for an interview and you're late, not properly dressed or without an idea of what the organization you are seeking employment from is about! Even you yourself, wouldn't want to employ yourself. Yet, we find some people however even when employed lack the key skills that they require to remain employed. We see lots of cases of people who are not diligent with their work, they resume late, are never on their seats, fight their co workers, dress shabbily, pile up their work saying after all, I can't kill myself, (in my Sister's words, you actual...

THE CENTRE OF GOD'S WORD

This is pretty strange how it worked out this way. Even if you are not religious, you should read this. Q- What is the shortest chapter in the bible? Psalm 117 q- What is the longest chapter in the bible? Psalm 119 q- Which chapter is in the centre of the bible? Psalm 118 Facts: there are 594 chapters before psalm 118 There are 594 chapters after psalm 118 Add these numbers up and you get 1188 q- What is the centre verse in the bible? Psalm 118:8 Does this verse say something significant about God’s perfect will for our lives? The next time someone says they would like to find God’s perfect will for their lives and that they want to be in the centre of His will, just send them to the centre of His word. Psalm 118:8 “it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man” Now isn’t that odd how this worked out.... Or was God in the centre ...

Friend of God

“Hello is that the U- Haul Company, I need a driver and a van to come help me move my things from Haran, my name is Mr. Abram” Abram spoke into the receiver. “Where are you moving to?” the official asked I don’t know where I am going; just send me a van first thing in the morning” Abram replied, sounding firm. “What do you mean; you don’t know where you are going? How do you expect us to charge you and by the way, what is your name? the official asked rolling his eyes, who calls a U-Haul company with no destination in mind. “I am Mr. Abram Terah, as for the cost, that won’t be a problem, just come” Abram was getting impatient with these questions and answers. “How old are you Mr. Terah?” the name dint ring a bell to him, maybe he was from out of town “I am seventy five years and why is that important?” “Seventy five; oh my God! You must be a senile old man, I bet the place you are moving to is a sanatorium, you had better call the department for veterans, so they come check you into ...
